Based in the town of Liskeard we are ideally positioned to serve our customers in Cornwall and Devon. We also provide a ‘remote service’ to a limited number of customers outside the West Country.
Tamar HR works with many different sectors: care, retail, accountancy, manufacturing, distribution, professional services etc. In scale our customers range from micro-employers of two people to employers with a team of several hundred: a typical team size is 5-60.

Tim founded Tamar HR in 2005 to provide an accessible and responsive service to businesses in the South West. A member of the CIPD and an experienced HR practitioner, Tim has worked with both the commercial and not for profit sector over the past 10 years. He has a particular interest in employment law and how positive workplaces can be built up and sustained.

Liz provides front-line support to clients across the whole range of HR issues – from recruitment to retirement and everything in between! Her style of advice is practical, commercial and seeks to resolve underlying causes as well as deal with immediate issues. Liz holds a Masters degree in Organisational Psychology and she has worked in New Zealand before settling in Cornwall.

Gus is our Business Development Manager. He works with us to develop the way we use ICT and to lead our marketing and customer relations programmes. A Computing Informatics student at the University of Plymouth, Gus has a keen interest in business and sales and was a finalist in the UK Universities leading business competition in 2009.
